Passionate Gym Manager Wanted

Anytime Fitness Macquarie Fields is looking for a driven, outgoing and goal orientated club manager with great sales skills, professionalism and an ability to provide superior customer service to take the club to the next level. This is a full time position and is available for an immediate start.


About the Role

As Club Manager, you will be responsible for successfully managing the club and its team. You will be mentored and guided in the Anytime Fitness processes and systems. You will take complete ownership for driving membership sales and reaching sales targets, Creating a fun gym environment for members, overseeing gym operations and implementing a range of retention strategies to service members and increase the club's profitability and performance. In addition, opportunities will be presented to up-skill and learn other areas of the business.


Key responsibilities will include:

  • Lead by example and take ownership of the club's success.

  • Achieve KPI's and sales targets.

  • Proactively seek out and generate new sales leads and referrals.

  • Develop and implement marketing and sales plans.

  • Lead a promotions/sales team.

  • Provide excellent customer service.

  • Create a vibrant, fun & positive club culture.

  • Conduct orientations for new and current members.

  • Promote the club brand and image within the local community.

  • Maintaining and promoting the Anytime Fitness social media presence

  • Ensure Anytime Fitness processes and guidelines are followed at all times.


Essential Criteria:

  • Fitness Centre / Gym Manager Experience

  • Strong sales skills & customer service skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • A passion for fitness, health and wellness.

  • Target driven and understand the importance of achieving set targets.

  • Able to work independently.

  • A hands-on and positive "can-do" attitude with the desire to continuously improve

  • Punctual and organised. Ability to plan and follow a schedule when required

  • Ability to learn and follow new systems & processes.

  • Have great leadership skills.

  • Be well presented and professional.

  • Excellent verbal and written skills with a high level of attention to detail

  • A friendly personality and likeable disposition where talking to people comes naturally

  • A desire to create a fun and vibrant culture within the club

  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends if required

  • Valid Working with Children's Check


Desirable Criteria:

  • First Aid Certificate

  • Personal Training Experience

  • Tertiary Qualifications


What's in it for you?

Excellent salary plus incentives/ bonus earning potential. Salary: $50,000 - $54,999 base plus commission. Ongoing training. A genuinely satisfying, fun and social place to work.
