About Us

We are an innovative, multi award-winning SME that develops and sells world-renowned traffic engineering software to a global client base. We are seeking a competent, motivated and self-sufficient person to join our friendly team at our modern office space located in the heart of the Balwyn Shopping District on Whitehorse Road, Victoria, Australia.

 

The Role

This is a full-time or part-time position in a highly successful family business. You will be our Customer Service champion! This role is all about taking care of our customers. This involves using our eCommerce system to respond to and resolve all software purchase and licensing queries. This role also involves other administrative tasks as well as managing the setup of training workshops.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • attending enquiries from our customers, representatives and resellers,

  • directing messages to appropriate staff,

  • responding to and resolving all software purchase and licensing queries from our customers with our eCommerce system,

  • managing software training workshops,

  • maintaining our eCommerce customer database,

  • preparing quotes and manually processing some sales

  • maintaining financial and other electronic and paper records, and

  • banking

 

Key Skills & Experience

We are looking for someone with the following skills and experience who has already been in the workforce for at least 5 years (full or part-time):

        

  • impeccable customer service skills, who can utilise our online systems to effectively resolve customer issues,

  • analytical mind in order to problem solve while being able to put yourself in our customers' shoes to really understand and help them,

  • experience with eCommerce or other online systems is preferred, but not essential,

  • willing and capable of learning our systems and processes,

  • great attention to detail and strong work ethic,

  • excellent communication skills and perfect written English skills,

  • excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel are essential,

  • excellent organisational abilities, time management and planning skills.
