John Wheatley Funeral Services is a family owned and operated Funeral Service provider, serving the community since 1935.
We are looking for someone to fill a permanent full time position at our Chester Hill office. The roll will include all aspects of funeral arranging, from meeting with clients, to coordinating the Funeral Service.
Essential skills necessary to obtain this position include exceptional oral and written communication skills, intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office), and the emotional strength to empathize with your client, whilst guiding them through an often difficult time.
The successful applicant will possess a strong work ethic, a mature attitude and an eye for detail. Whilst a background in Sales and/or Accounts would be beneficial, it is not essential, as all required training will be provided. Participation in an after hours phone roster (one weekend in four) is also a requirement. This role does not involve any mortuary work, or attendance at funeral services.
